• Yes.  Last year, we had tons.  Many of our family, friends and neighbors made enough to feed all of us and it was wonderful.  We will also have coffee, water and soda (pop) available throughout the day.   Many attendees gave donations for food items during the day, and that helped us raise even more! 

I work for a LSS or home-based scrapbook company can I be a vendor? 

• We are allowing one vendor from each company to attend.  Please feel free to email me and see if your company is already represented.  If not, we’d love to have you attend if you are willing to donate a portion of your sales to Komen, and I can  send a vendor registration form to you via email.  

Why do I want to attend this event? 

• There is something to be said about doing something you love and doing it to benefit someone else.  This event raises tons of money for Komen which is not only used for research to find a cure but also to provide free mammograms to those who are unable to afford it.   It's a feel-good, win-win day all the way around!

I want to help but due to commitments I can’t come to the crop? 

• Thanks so much for offering to help.  There are many ways to help including: 
• Making a tax deductible donation to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  You can do this online at www.desmoinesraceforthecure.org
  
• This year, we are also including a garage sale to benefit Komen.  All sales of scrapbooking supplies will be donated directly to  Komen  so  please clean out your scrap  rooms and donate  supplies you can spare.  You can drop off the donations to myself or one of the other members of DSM Moms or send them in the mail to the address above.
  
• We also have a silent auction and many of my “online” scrapbook friends have graciously offered to make page kits, paper piecings, paper bag albums, etc. for  the auction.  If you are feeling creative, we’d love to have you participate in this.
  
• Items for goodie bags and door prizes are needed as well so if you have access to enough of one item to fill 100 bags, please let me know.
